For months, the sneaker world has been watching Nigel Sylvester's every move since his "Brick By Brick" Air Jordan 4 took over the year. Now, a full picture of his follow up collaboration has emerged, and it looks like another banger.
The design of the upcoming Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Sail Cinnabar draws clear inspiration from the legendary "Fire Red" 4s. It establishes a familiar foundation with premium white leather and strategically placed black and cinnabar details. However, it's the subtle shifts that truly give this shoe its own identity. Instead of the typical black or white, the netting on the tongue and side panel arrives in a subtle "Sail" hue, offering a vintage, off white appearance.
The toe panel is swapped out for a soft suede, and a small cinnabar Swoosh sits elegantly on the side. The heel is also set to feature "Bike Air" lettering, a personal detail that pays homage to Sylvester's background.
Of course, it's difficult to compete with a legacy as vast as Travis Scott’s. He has a large portfolio of celebrated Jordan collaborations. Yet, if we focus on the here and now, particularly on the momentum of 2025, there's no doubt that all eyes have been on the bicycle star. The "Brick By Brick" shoe is still a strong contender for sneaker of the year, even as we enter the final months of the year. This upcoming "Cinnabar" colourway, slated for a Summer 2026 release, is perfectly positioned to continue this incredible run. Want to snag these for retail? Just smash that bell icon!
