Proceeding a capsule collection earlier this year in April, BLACK COMME des GARÇONS x Nike are back with their latest offerings. This time around, the duo have shifted their joint focus into reviving a small collection of retro running T-Shirt designs from the 70s.
Seemingly standing out above the rest is the Wellesley Marathon tee. This T-Shirt sports a large graphic featuring three runners in the style of an ancient Greek styled vase printing. In addition, a text saying "The Marathon 1983" and a red Nike Swoosh logo are also featured.
Elsewhere we see the Storm the Butte T-Shirt, a piece that seemingly highlights and celebrates Nike's rich trail running history. On the front of the T-Shirt, we see a graphic of a mountain and a winding trail running path amongst the trees. The phrase " 1973 Nike- CDG Storm the Butte" is featured below the graphic alongside two Nike Swoosh logos on either side.
Finally, a classic Washington Park Fun Run tee rounds out the capsule. This T-Shirt arrives with a graphic of a Nike waffle sole, as well as a text imprint, reading "Washington Park 1978 Fun Run. To finish the piece, a large Nike Swoosh logo takes on an angular placement.
The T-Shirts are available now to buy at Dover Street Market's website and over at its London store. In other news, Stussy x Our Legacy WORK SHOP return for a remastered fall collection.
