Following the tragic passing of Chris "Spanto" Printup in June, Born X Raised has been defiant in continuing with its release efforts. After releasing a capsule with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the label has now tapped none other than Stüssy to release a collaboration of quite some magnitude.
Marking the first time these SoCal labels have worked together, Born X Raised x Stüssy will unite motifs from both brands to create a concise capsule collection with west coast style at its core. Included in the mix, we see T-Shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, a fitted hat, beach towels and even a Zippo lighter.
Standouts include a trio of T-Shirt designs, each fusing Born X Raised's hand-style typography with Stüssy's famed 8-ball signature. One particular T-Shirt pays tribute to Spanto on the rear, with his partner 2Tone's signature on the front. Elsewhere, a heavyweight zip-up hoodie sports co-branded logos atop a deep black hue.
