It has been quite the year so far for C.P Company. Following a spate of collaborations, the Italian brand is set on continuing its 50th birthday celebrations with its Cinquanta exhibition. The exhibition celebrates the brand's history as well and highlights key moments and pivotal products and textiles.
Based in Darwen Lancaster in the UK, this exhibition shines light on C.P. Company's subcultural appeal in both football and the north of England. The brand has always had a legion of fans in the north since the late 80s where the brand rooted itself as part of the casual football fan's uniform.
Five decades worth of C.P. history is housed within the walls of the exhibition with items such as a 1975 Chester Perry T-Shirt, 1982 Dutch Police Jacket, 2009 Nylon Goggle Jacket, and a 2020 P.RI.S.M Jacket all on display. Later this month, the space will also be used to celebrate the launch of the latest adidas Spezial x C.P. Company collaboration.
For any readers based in the north, you can check out C.P's "Cinquanta" exhibition until the 10th of October at Darwen Market, 46 Croft St, Darwen BB3 1BH. In other news, Stone Island keep it clean with its latest ghost pieces.
