Last week, we got our first look at the upcoming adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 in the beloved 'Triple White' colourway. The shade is arguably the most popular colour combo to grace the Ultra Boost, next to 'Core Black' and 'Triple Black', and now, thanks to Just Fresh Kicks, we can get a side by side look at the all white 3.0 and 4.0 silhouettes.
Ever since its debut back in 2015, The Brand With The Three Stripes have always updated the Ultra Boost by changing the uppers Primeknit pattern, and the Ultra Boost 4.0 is really no different, showing off an intricate new webbing system that seems like a more fleshed out version of the pattern found on the 3.0s.
From the photos alone, you can see that the upper found on the fourth generation runners are infinitely more breathable, with more holes scattered around the toe box region. The 3.0 features a translucent cage, whilst the 4.0 goes back to basics with an opaque one, taking design cues from the UB 1.0 and 2.0.
Of course, an Ultra Boost isn't really an Ultra Boost without a full length Boost midsole, and both of these models incorporate this into their designs perfectly, followed by a clean white Continental outsole for added grip and durability during runs.
What do you think of the adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 Triple White? Do you think its a must cop? Or do you think adidas should try something new? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
