While a large portion of the skate community will already recognise Carhartt WIP as somewhat of a skateboarding brand, collaborations with the likes of Quartersnacks help solidify the fact for others. This AW22, Carhartt WIP x Quartersnacks have joined forces to release a concise selection of goods honouring the "mom and pop" businesses of New York City.
"Mom and pop" businesses often take the form of grocery stores, bodegas, restaurants and more, explaining the classic produce-styled selection of graphics and embroideries found across the selection. Included in the bunch, we see jackets, flannels, tees, beanies, and pants, with each boasting co-branded signatures and stylish detailing.
Leading the collection is a fresh rendition of Carhartt's OG Arctic Coat. This piece sports a washed navy hue alongside a contrasting check collar. On the chest, we see opposing Quartersnacks and Carhartt logos. Other notable additions include a shirt jacket boasting an all-over tartan print consisting of green, navy and black hues.
For those looking to get their hands on the Carhartt WIP x Quartersnacks collaboration, it is currently available on the Carhartt website and at selected retailers worldwide. In other fashion news, outerwear heavyweights adidas TERREX x and wander come together for a distinctive capsule.
