Cute Details Dress the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Year of the Tiger"

Nike are set to celebrate the Lunar New Year with the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Year of the Tiger.” Celebrated at the second new moon following the Winter Solstice, the Chinese New Year brings in a new era, and according to the Chinese Zodiac this year should have us feeling fired-up, generous and finding our enthusiasm again. Now, we can only hope that this year will be better than the past couple, but whilst we wait in eager anticipation, let’s take a closer look at the celebratory Air Force 1.

The “Year of the Tiger” AF1 reflects this bright and optimistic attitude, using brightly coloured detailing as accents on the sneaker. Starting with a “Sail” canvas base and white midsole, the details build on the theme with a bright orange tongue outsole and heel tab, and hints of turquoise on the tongue. The Nike Swoosh has been given a thematic makeover, coming dressed in tiger print, and a cute embroidered tiger graphic appears at the heel.
