When we caught our first glimpse of the Air Jordan 1 Switch earlier this year, we were intrigued to say the least. Made for sneakerheads who love the support of the AJ1 High but also the versatility of the AJ1 Low, this shoe was made to be the best of both worlds. After seven months of nothing but blurry leaks that seem to have been taken by potatoes, we're finally getting our closest look yet, so let's check out the Air Jordan 1 Switch "Purple Pulse" in action right now!
While the "Purple Pulse" may look like any Air Jordan 1 from a distance, when you take a step closer you'll find that there's way more than meets the eye. With a full suede construction, this shoe works on a "Glacier Blue" base while "Purple Pulse" hues descend upon the toebox and heel. A black Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while a smaller one is finely embroidered around the front.
Of course, you can't talk about this Nike shoe without mentioning the bright yellow zip that makes its way around the ankle. Made to be unfastened in a split second, doing so reveals an Air Jordan 1 Low complete with a pull tab at the back for added convenience. This is unlike anything we've seen before, so we just can't wait to get these in-hand to try them out ourselves.
Expected to drop within the first half of 2021, we can already tell that next year is going to be one hell of a year for Jordan Brand. Let us know what you think of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Switch "Purple Pulse", and in related news, the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High "Chicago" could be on the way!
