Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this retro version is back, capturing the original design with that special copper finish we all know and love. Originally dropped in 2010, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Copper” returns for Holiday 2024. Last seen in 2017, this release honours Eric Avar’s legendary basketball silhouette, made famous by Penny Hardaway. Sneaker fans are excited about the return of this classic silhouette, offering a nostalgic throwback through basketball and fashion history.
Coming back in its classic Black and Metallic Copper colourway, the Nike Air Foamposite One sports a distinctive look. It features a Black mesh inner bootie, nubuck overlays, and that standout Metallic Copper Air Foamposite shell, keeping its timeless appeal. Black laces, inner lining, and carbon fibre detailing add to the classic-meets-modern feel. An icy translucent outsole gives it a fresh look while staying true to its roots.
This marks the third release of the metallic colourway, originally debuting in 2009 and re-released in 2017. The 2010 pair came with icy blue soles, which some loved and some didn’t, but the 2024 edition goes back to full translucence, as confirmed by official images earlier this year.
The Nike Foamposite One “Copper” drops on 5th December, priced at £210. Make sure you click the 'Notify me' button and we'll inform you as soon as these hit the market.
