As one of the most classic Jordan Brand colourways of all time, court purple tends to pop up several times in a year across varying silhouettes, with the latest pair to be unveiled titled the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “Purple Patent”. While it isn’t strictly a court purple colourway, it’s very clean where the design team got their inspiration from here. Combined with patent leather panels and all the comfort of the Zoom midsole unit, if you’re looking for a fresh pair of Jordans for 2022 these could just be your next cop!
The pair are crafted from tumbled leather along with patent leather for a neat look, with black heel tabs and Nike Swoosh logos accentuating the otherwise purple and white colourway. The toe box is perforated as on the original 1985 AJ1, while Zoom Air branding resides at the tongue tabs above black laces.
This all sits on top of what looks to be an aged-white midsole unit, concealing both Nike Air and Zoom cushioning, making for one of the most comfortable combinations on the market. Along with this, extra padding is located around the ankles to ensure that these can deal with hours of wear without causing any discomfort.
If you’re looking to get your hands on this upcoming Air Jordan 1 release, you’ll have to stay tuned for a little longer just yet, as currently there’s no confirmed release date for the pair. We expect them to launch at some point in the coming months, as we already have official images of the pair.
