For many of us, when we think of classic workwear pieces, we imagine heavy-duty cotton fabrics built for hard work and graft. But, as the lines become more blurred, brands are looking to mix heritage with fresh ideas, and this latest Dickies x Opening Ceremony collaboration is a prime example of that
For AW22, Dickies x Opening Ceremony have joined forces to release a selection of authentic workwear silhouettes, with each constructed from uncommon Italian-made fabrics. This latest collaboration builds on Opening Ceremony's knack for paying tribute to quintessential design while giving each a surprising twist.
Arriving as part of Opening Ceremony's 20th-anniversary celebrations, this collection itself spans both menswear and womenswear, offering an array of instant classics. Included, we see velvet and denim workwear sets, wool overshirts and much more - each with an array of distinctive hues on display. In addition, to capture the essence of this latest collab, the duo has enlisted Grammy-nominated Andrew Thomas Huang for all the campaign material.
For those looking to get their hands on the Dickies x Opening Ceremony collection, it has just launched on Dickies' website and is available for purchase. In other fashion news, Stüssy x Dries Van Noten release a collaborative teaser starring Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
