Following on from 'Side A', the Nike Air Max 90 'Side B' adds another dimension to the Mix Tape pack, with this contrasting blacked-out colourway that feels like its come straight out of the '90s.
This highly sought after release has caused a lot of hype on social media, celebrating the creation of the Air Max 90 way back when, and the legendary music scene that accompanied it. 'Side B' adds a darker edge to the pack with a completely contrasting colour palette that nods at some of the Air Max 90's most popular colourways.
The silhouette is a mirror image of 'Side A', with the same tongue detailing, '33 1/3 RPM' that links specifically to the speed of a record. Further detailing including the name of the shoe, 'Side B', the style information and colour also appear on the padded leather tongue.
The Swoosh brand takes things up a notch with this old school silhouette that cleverly combines the aesthetic of the era with a contemporary twist. Vibrant coral hints contrast to the dark brown mesh base, with soft touch panel overlays. Underfoot a translucent base shows off the handwritten tracklist, yet another unique detail that adds a premium touch. Even the laces are updated with a flecked, two-tone effect in the same colours as the upper and the Swoosh branding. Oversized stitched detailing contours the heel with a plastic Nike Air heel badge for a simple touch of branding.
The Nike Air Max 90 'Side B' is definitely one to add to the sneaker collection, and is one of the freshest drops of the year so far from the Swoosh brand. It releases on the 20th June at 8am so make sure you follow the links on this page so you don't miss out!
