The seventh addition to Nike's ever-expanding 'Athletic Club' collection, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Athletic Club "Pro Green" is one of the most luxurious AF1s revealed for 2022 so far. Dressed in collegiate-inspired green and red hues, with the addition of an off-white midsole, there's a lot to like about this recently unveiled pair of Forces, so let's take a closer look.
This Air Force 1's luxurious feel comes predominantly from the use of suede across the entirety of the upper. Coming in the coveted "Pro Green" colourway, this sneaker is bound to fly off the shelves thanks to its popular and sought-after hues. Everyone knows that green is the colour of the moment; just look at the Dunks, Jordans and New Balance 550s trending at the mo. The "Forest Green" hue also takes over the leather heel tab, nylon tongue and lace unit, whilst a crisp-white, smooth leather Swoosh dresses the sidewalls. This contrasts to the vintage-toned midsole, yet corresponds to the outline of the AF1 embroidery on the heel and the label at the top of the tongue.
In usual AF-1 fashion, perforations across the toe box and sidewalls allow for enhanced breathability, whilst the aforementioned red colouring adorns the Air branding on the midsole, heel and tongue.
