After getting up close and personal with the "Denim" and "Stealth" earlier this week, we're now taking our first look at a never-before-seen AJ1 colourway - the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Heirloom". Even though the Michael Jordan-helmed label has been releasing colourway after colourway for almost four decades, they never seem to miss, with each one being more sought-after than the next.
Not much is known about this Air Jordan 1 at this moment in time, but there's no doubt that it's a masterclass in materials. Working on top of an all-black cotton twill base, luxurious vachetta tan leather panels wrap around the entire sneaker, resulting in a colourblocking combo that's quite similar to the "Dark Marina Blue", "Pollen", and "Shadow 2.0".
The iconic winged basketball is finely embossed onto the ankle, while a Nike Swoosh shoots across the laterals and medials. Down below, the Air midsole is as clean as it gets, and this is finished off with a light gum outsole that gives these a vintage vibe.
Expected to drop sometime in September, the Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG "Heirloom" has got to be one of the most versatile Js to release this year. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your collection, and in related news, the Air Jordan 1 High "Chicago Reimagined" now has rumoured release date!
