The Air Jordan 14 holds a special place in sneaker history, famously worn by Michael Jordan during his sixth and final championship season with the Chicago Bulls. Among its original colourways, the “Oxidized Green” last appeared in 2016. Now, this iconic design is set to return in 2025, reimagined for the golf course as part of Jordan Brand’s Golf series.
Originally debuting during the height of MJ’s career, the Air Jordan 14 didn’t hit retail shelves until after Jordan retired from the Bulls (excluding his Wizards stint).
This marked the start of the “retirement era” of Air Jordans; a period Jordan Brand could be exploring further with its Retro lineup. With the recent popularity of the Air Jordan 14 “Black Toe,” it’s clear that the right release at the right time resonates with fans.
Official images of the Air Jordan 14 Golf “Oxidized Green” have now surfaced, showcasing a fresh take on this classic silhouette. The golf version features a slightly lower cut compared to the original model and comes dressed in a clean White, Oxidised Green, Black, and Glacier Blue colour scheme. Upgraded materials, such as a ribbed stitched upper replacing the traditional leather, give it a modern touch.
A golf ready spike plate underfoot ensures performance on the course, while classic elements like Jumpman branding and the iconic “23” on the heel retain its heritage. Accents of Oxidised Green complete the timeless design.
Set to release on 21st February 2025, the Air Jordan 14 Golf “Oxidized Green” will retail for around £180. For more upcoming releases, keep following The Sole Supplier.
