First Look At The Childish Gambino x adidas Originals Sneaker

Back in September, adidas Originals tapped Childish Gambino as its latest brand ambassador. Announced through an animated short, similar to the soulful artist's 'Feels Like Summer' music video, Gambino returns home to take off his beaters and lace up a pair of Three Stripe sneaks. Now, we're getting a first look at the collaborative creps!

Taking on the iconic Continental 80 silhouette, the image was shared by artist and rapper Tierra Whack via her Instagram Story. Painted in a clean off-white hue, the retro runner sports a thrifted aesthetic, with fraying appearing on the upper and laces, which are crafted from leather. Slight perforations are present near the mudguard and toe, whilst adidas branding appears next to the laces, at the tongue tab, and heel counter.
