Edison Chen has had one hell of a year. After dropping two Air Jordan 1s and also two Air Force 1s, one of which was made in collaboration with fragment design, it looks like the Hong Kong multi-hyphenate isn't planning on stopping anytime soon, as images of the CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 "Rose Gold Silk" have just surfaced on Instagram!
Images courtesy of sneaker insider @sneakerjamz, the "Rose Gold Silk" features the same traditional Chinese pattern that was used on 2009’s "1WORLD" and 2018's "Silk Force 1". Dipped in a premium rose gold hue, the upper is crafted from luxe silk that wears away over time, revealing a mysterious base layer that we have yet to see. "Nike Air" is finely embroidered around the heel, and across the lateral and medial side panels, a full grain Swoosh elegantly swoops across.
Down below, a clean white Air midsole is present, providing sneakerheads with comfort and cushioning that's truly unrivalled. This is then lined with a slither of gum rubber, finalising the design.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 "Rose Gold Silk", but our sources tell us that they should drop on January 11th which is just under three weeks away. Let us know what you think of this colourway, and while you're here, don't miss these brand new and restocked Nike Air Force 1s!
