When it comes to sneaker collaborations, Rei Kawakubo's Converse collab trumps them all. A partnership that began all the way back in 2009, while the designs of their Chuck 70s have remained unchanged since they're still much loved within the industry. With that said, the power duo have now reunited once again for the COMME des GARÇONS x Converse Jack Purcell - and we're now taking our first look!
Arriving in two clean cut colourways including the "Black" and the "Red", CDG's take on the classic silhouette works on top of a grey "Drizzle" canvas base. The Japanese imprint's signature PLAY heart motif surrounds the upper with the eyes peeping just above the rubber midsole, which is dipped in a pristine "Egret" hue.
Co-branded detailing makes its way to the insole, and to round it all off, the inside tongue reads: "Jack Purcell: The One With The Wedge".
Set to drop on April 1st, the COMME des GARÇONS x Converse Jack Purcell should not be missed! Let us know which colourway you're feeling the most, and in case you missed it, the Off-White x Converse Chuck 70 2.0 restock has been cancelled!
