In February 2015, adidas introduced the Ultra Boost silhouette. Regarded by many sneakerheads as one of the most iconic sneakers of all time, and by many athletes as the best running shoe ever made, we're now getting a first look at the Three Stripes' collaboration with renowned chef Eddie Huang.
Building on the iconic Ultra Boost 1.0, this sneaker is painted in a lucky red colourway. Crafted from a combination of premium materials including supple leather, luxe suede and breathable mesh, the conventional "Ultra Boost"; branding is replaced by the Chinese character for “fortune” or “good luck”, while a panda motif adorns the tongue of the right shoe.
Down below, a full length Boost midsole is present, accompanied by an ultra durable Continental outsole. Pretty much nothing else is known about the Eddie Huang x adidas Ultra Boost collaboration, so be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops. In related news, adidas are bringing back the Ultra Boost 'Miami Hurricanes' â¦well, almost.
