It looks like Hiroshi Fujiwara's fragment design and Edison Chen's CLOT are cooking up some ultra high heat with the help of Nike. Both long-time Swoosh collaborators, the trio will be teaming up to rework the classic Air Force 1, and the hype is literally off the charts!
Set to arrive in three distinct colourways, we're taking a look at just two of them today. Arriving in black, a crocodile skin upper features for an ultra-luxe look. fragment design's lightning bolt motif hits the heel while a white outsole provides the shoe with a very subtle pop of contrast.
The other AF1 is painted in a vibrant red and boasts a traditional Chinese pattern across the upper in a soft velour material, reminiscent of the CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 from February 2018 that featured a unique tearable upper.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else us known about the fragment design x CLOT x Nike Air Force 1, but according to sneaker insider @py_rates, the hotly anticipated collab will be available sometime in October this year. Let us know if you'll be adding a pair to your collection, and while you're here, be sure to take a look at the full Nike sneaker range!
