It looks like the Nice Kicks x adidas Ultra 4D is on the way, and we're now taking our first look yet! Following the release of their Ultra Boost collaboration last year, the San Francisco-based footwear store has now reunited with the Three Stripes for their first ever Futurecraft 4D shoe, and the results are truly breathtaking.
Taking influence from the tie-dye trend that was extremely popular in SF back in the day, this mysterious Ultra 4D acts as a spiritual sequel to the Nice Kicks x adidas NMD R1 that first released back in 2016. Featuring a full Primeknit upper, it's done up in a psychedelic black and white pattern with a matte midfoot cage flanking the lateral and medial side panels for added support and structure.

Down below, you'll find the iconic 4D midsole that's painted in a stealthy all-black colour scheme. Made using an advanced processed called Digital Light Synthesis, adidas teamed up with a company called Carbon to create the intricate lattice structure from light, resulting in cushioning experience that rivals that of Boost. While we can't see it here, we're positive that NK's signature speech bubble motif is somewhere around the shoe, rounding off the design.
Pretty much nothing else is known about the trippy Nice Kicks x adidas Ultra 4D at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know what you think of this upcoming collaboration, and in related news, the adidas Ultra 4D "Miami Hurricanes" is coming soon!
