The Nike Air VaporMax has got to be one of the most iconic Swoosh sneakers ever made. An innovative take on the Beaverton brand's signature cushioning tech, Kathy Gomez, Nike's VP of Underfoot Cushioning Innovation said it took fifteen tries to get the VaporMax sole right. Now, after getting a brief glimpse earlier this year, we're taking our first look at the Nike Air VaporMax 2020 "Black"!
Arriving in a breathable construction, the "Black" is crafted from a full Flyknit upper that's made from recycled polyester. White and grey accents peppered throughout the side panels, and FlyEase laceless technology makes it easier to loosen and tighten the shoes, making these perfect for those who are physically unable to do so.
Other funky details include drawcord tips and zipper pulls that are made from Nike Grind rubber, and a reworked Air VaporMax design that does away with the symmetrical look in favour of something a bit more out-there.
At this moment in time, it's hard to say when exactly the Nike Air VaporMax 2020 "Black" will launch, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier if you want a pair! Let us know what you think of the next generation AVM, and in related news, the Jordan Delta SP has been unveiled in two colourways!
