There's no hiding the fact that hype surrounding the adidas Futurecraft 4D has gone downhill. Once one of the most sought-after silhouettes ever, the last few colourways are now still sitting on shelves, with some even hitting the sale rack. With all that said, it looks like the Three Stripes wants to bring back the hype with the upcoming Pharrell Williams x adidas Futurecraft 4D Mid, and we have to admit, we're pretty excited for this release!
Serving as Skateboard P's first 4D sneaker, the Pharrell Williams x adidas Futurecraft 4D Mid features a bold 'Tecoli'-hued Primeknit upper for a comfortable sock-like fit. Light green Three Stripe branding runs across the lateral and medial side panels, and a white cross hatch pattern is stitched across the heel portion, kind of like Ronnie Fieg's version that launched back in 2018.
Moving downwards, you'll find adidas' innovative Futurecraft 4D midsole that continues to be a technological marvel even to this day. Formed by a process called Digital Light Synthesis, which uses light to shape a specially developed liquid resin that has elastic properties, it's dipped in an 'Ash Green' colour for a futuristic aesthetic. To round it all off, a "Human Race"; branded tag graces the ankle, while a pull tab hits the heel for added convenience, finalising the design.
Set to launch pretty soon, the Pharrell Williams x adidas Futurecraft 4D Mid will retail for around £350 a pop. Making sneakerheads green with envy, make sure you stay tuned for more release info as it develops! Will you be grabbing a pair? Let us know what you're thinking!
