The iconic Nike SB Air Trainer 1 has been dormant for quite some time. Regarded by many sneakerheads to be one of the most iconic Swoosh sneakers in history, it was designed by Tinker Hatfield back in 1987 as one of the first athletic cross training shoes ever made. Now, thanks to Eric Koston, it looks like the AT1 is making a comeback in collaboration with Polar Skate Co., and we're beyond hyped!
Boasting an ultra premium construction, perforated white leather contrasts against navy leather for a beautifully colour blocked look. Black nubuck overlays then take over the toe box and heel, providing the Nike SB shoe with a luxe look that's hard to ignore.
The Swedish skate imprint's logo makes its presence known on the forefoot strap, while the co-branded detailing hits the tongue. To round it all off, the clean white midsole is lined with a gum rubber outsole for added durability and traction with every step.
Now, if you want to cop the Polar Skate Co. x Nike SB Air Trainer 1, you've got to listen up! Set to drop on June 10th at Nike and select retailers, be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more release info as it develops! While you're here, take a look at the full Nike sneaker range!
