Yesterday, we unveiled that a Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration was in the works, and now, less than 24 hours later, we're getting our first look ever at the hotly anticipated sneakers. Images courtesy of rapper and sneakerhead @lil_john310, the shoe has been revealed in three distinct colourways, and you need to see them!
A silhouette that made its debut almost two decades ago back in 2002, the Dunk Low has been rising in popularity over the past few months thanks to style icons like Virgil Abloh. Crafted from premium full grain leather, the first shoe boasts Supreme's signature red and white palette, with a Swoosh along the side panels and a metallic sheen on the toe box. The same aesthetic is carried over to the second version, but this one boasts a monochromatic black and silver colour combination that'll work with any fit.
While a jewelled Swoosh is nothing out of the ordinary these days, what makes these sneakers particularly special is the brand new Supreme star logo that's embroidered on the heel. Bearing a striking resemblance to 2003's Nike SB Dunk Low 'Heineken', which is valued at around £1,200 a pop, we can't wait for these to finally drop.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low but it's set to release sometime in Fall 2019 at price tag of £95. Could this be the best Nike SB collaboration of the year? Let us know what you're thinking, and be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for the hottest sneaker news.
