Are you ready for the Yeezy 500 High "Tyrian"? A colourway that has been floating around the sneakersphere for quite some time, no one's actually seen the shoe in person... Until now that is. Previously rumoured to take on a burgundy hue, it looks like Kanye West has decided to head in another direction instead and we ain't even mad.
Borrowing earthy elements from the Yeezy 700 V2 "Geode", the high top Yeezy 500 boasts a suede and leather construction that's as premium as it gets. Painted all over in brown, midnight blue hues make their way to the neoprene portions that are peppered throughout the midfoot all the way to the ankle. While we would've preferred if Ye kept these black or brown, we're digging the random pop of contrast.
Moving downwards, you'll be presented with a bulbous adidas adiPRENE midsole that's been fully murdered out. This is lined with a series of grooves for added grip, and to round off the "Tyrian", a toggle switch replaces the conventional lacing system for a utilitarian aesthetic that many sneakerheads will definitely be able to appreciate.
One of the most unique Yeezy colours ever made, the adidas Yeezy 500 High "Tyrian" is scheduled to release on May 16th worldwide - that's just over two weeks from now! Let us know if you'll be adding a pair to your collection, and while you're here, here's when you can cop the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Zyon"!
