Following CVC Capital bagging co-ownership of A Bathing Ape earlier this month, it seems the brand is keen to rekindle old relationships as they plan yet another link up with none other than British icon, Fred Perry.
The last time these two brands met was in 2012 for an unlikely link up for Fred Perry's 60th anniversary where they produced a limited selection of signature polos and graphic T-Shirts. With the items still highly sought after amongst collectors since release, we're expecting the news of the latest collaboration will excite fans of the two brands everywhere.
According to the @bape_uk Instagram, this collection will feature five signature and classic pieces reworked by both brands. Judging by the images released those five pieces will consist of three track tops and two polo shirts.
The track tops seem to arrive in black, navy and green colourways all adorned with selections of BAPE's iconic Cloud Camo print. As well as this, both brand's signature logos sit proudly on the chest and down the shoulders and arms in the blue/green version. The polo shirts arrive with an all-over Cloud Camo print and additionally feature dual branding also.
The collection will be available online from the 26th of June on Fred Perry's and we're predicting you might have to be quick to get your hands on this one! In other news, C.P. Company share their story through a 50th anniversary book.
