This is a day that we've been waiting two years for. Since the debut of Futurecraft 4D in 2017, sneakerheads every have been wondering if the Three Stripes will ever introduce the award-winning technology to its Ultra Boost silhouette. Now, thanks to these brand new leaks from sneaker insider @yankeekicks, the aptly named adidas Ultra 4D has been confirmed, and it's of beauty.
While it's quite obvious that hype for 4D has gone downhill since the start of the year, the Ultra 4D is sure to bring it all back. Seen here in a clean "Triple White" colour scheme, the upper is taken straight from the UB 1.0, complete with the Primeknit construction and supportive midfoot cage.
Around the back, you'll find a heel cup for added stability that's adorned with "ULTRA 4D" branding in a matte white tone. And of course, a full length Futurecraft 4D midsole sits down below. This is made using a technique called Digital Light Synthesis and is dipped in "Cream White" for a futuristic aesthetic.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the adidas Ultra 4D. As you can see from the tongue tag, this silhouette is still in the sample stage, so an official release has yet to be confirmed. With that said, it looks like an early 2020 launch is imminent, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier and we'll let you know as soon as more release info comes in!
