Not only is G-Dragon the king of K-pop, he's also the king of collabs too. Following the release of the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 last November, it looks like the BIGBANG leader is already working on his next signature sneaker with the Beaverton brand. While not much is known about it at the moment, it's apparently going to be named the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo1.
We don't exactly know what this silhouette will look like, but by the sounds of it it will be inspired by taekwondo which harkens back to the artist's South Korean roots. Taekwondo shoes are also generally slip-on models with either no fastenings or a single velcro strap, so it will be interesting to see how GD implements this into his signature wear-away design.
The Nike pair will be painted in a pristine "Triple White" palette and will retail for around £130. This price tag means that it will feature a pretty premium construction that will most likely comprise of leather and suede.
Rumoured to be dropping at the end of the year just like his previous two release's, we can't wait to see G-Dragon's PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo1 "Triple White" in the Holiday Season! Let us know what you think of this collaboration, and in related news, Virgil Abloh just confirmed that the "Dear Summer" Collection will feature 50 Off-White Nike Dunks!
