If you're a fan of the AJ1, chances are you know of the legendary "Georgetown Hoyas" sample. First leaked all the way back in 1985 when Michael Jordan was just getting started with Nike, the colourway unfortunately never saw the light of day... until now, that is. If you've been waiting for these to drop, the wait is finally over as we get our first look at the Air Jordan 1 High '85 "College Navy"!
With the exact same colourblocking as the '85 OG, the "College Navy" features a premium leather construction throughout. Working on top of a light grey base, dark navy panels wrap around the heel, lacing system, and toebox for a contrast that is sure to turn heads. A complementary Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while the iconic winged basketball is stamped onto the ankle in a crisp white hue.
This is perfectly complementary by a white nylon tongue as well as the Air midsole which sits underneath the Air Jordan 1. A navy rubber outsole rounds it all off, finalising the truly legendary design.
If you want the Nike Air Jordan 1 High '85 "College Navy" in your collection then unfortunately you're going to have to wait a little longer as these are expected to launch next February. A must-have in our eyes, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops, and while you're here, you might as well take your best look yet at the Nike Dunk Low "Georgetown"!
