Earlier this month, Shawn Stussy unleashed his first Air Zoom Spiridon collaboration which sold out literally within seconds. An ultra unique take on the shoe, many sneakerheads argue that he singlehandedly brought back the hype for the classic silhouette. Now, we're taking an on-foot look at the Stüssy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon KK, and honestly we think these are equally as fire!
Images courtesy of sneaker insider @yankeekicks, Stüssy's second Spiridon is available in two clean cut colourways, including "Black" and "White". Working on a breathable mesh base, a semi-transparent cage makes its way across the entire upper for added support and stability.
While this may seem like just another design feature to some people, hardcore Swoosh fans will know that this has been taken from the legendary Air Kukini - a retro runner that made its debut twenty years ago back in 2000.
Moving downwards, you'll find an extra comfortable Air midsole that has been given its own little cage to keep inline with the theme, and to round it all off, a contrasting hue makes its way to the inner lining, with the "Black" receiving a "Bright Cactus" accent and the "White" going "Habanero Red".
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the Stüssy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon KK, but we can expect these sooner rather than later! Let us know which colourway you prefer, and in related news, the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High is dropping next month!
