As one of the most popular and loved sneakers in Nike’s impressive roster, the Nike Air Max 90 perhaps shouldn’t be tampered with, although the Swoosh brand has just unveiled a fresh take on the model and it’s safe to say it’s looking pretty tasty. Titled the Nike Air Max 90 Scrap “Blush”, the brand-new silhouette takes the basis of an AM90 and accentuates it with various design add-ons, similar to the Nike Dunk Low “Scrap”.
Decked out in a softly-hued colourway, the sneaker consists of hits of brown, beige and pink, forming a well-designed and aesthetically-pleasing look. Key features include Nike’s classic Swoosh logo on both sides, as well as panels crafted from suede, mesh, and even canvas.
A futuristic-styled lacing system houses rope laces, while embossed Air Max motifs are present on the tongues, along with pull tabs at both heels. This all sits atop a white midsole unit that houses a visible Air Max cushioning system under the heel. A gum outsole finishes off the look with ease.
If you’re liking the look of this remixed Air Max 90, you’ll have to stay tuned right here at The Sole Supplier, as a release date is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
