First unveiled back in February during New York Fashion Week, it's safe to say that the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High has been on our radar for quite some time now. The brainchild of South Korean fashion designer Yoon Ahn, her take on the legendary silhouette is subtle yet striking, and we're getting our closest look yet!
Images courtesy of sample collector @woganwodeyang, the AMBUSH Dunk High is a true masterpiece. Featuring a full leather construction, the black and white palette very clearly shows off the motorcycle culture-inspired design. With a fortified ankle that references biker boots, you'll also find a chunky rubber panel that glides around the heel complete with branding in all caps.
Of course, you can't talk about this collab without mentioning the Nike Swoosh that extends way past the heel. Offering a sense of speed, it perfectly complements the sneaker's theme.
Expected to drop alongside a "Lethal Pink" colourway, the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High will launch sometime in December. Let us know what you think of this collaboration, and while you're here, you might as well feast your eyes on the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High "Turdunken"!
