La Flame is about to go full Sicko Mode on us as we get up close and personal with the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High. First teased last month when the American rapper was spotted rocking a pair in the wild, sneaker insider @zsneakerheadz now has a pile of clean shots to share, and saying that we're beyond hyped is a true understatement.
Clearly inspired by Hiroshi Fujiwara's fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High from 2014, Travis' take on the collaboration is painted in the exact same blue and white colour palette with black detailing throughout. Crafted from premium grain leather, his signature backwards Swoosh shoots across the lateral side panel as a nod to 2019's Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High "Mocha".
The legendary winged basketball emblem is debossed onto the ankle of the Air Jordan 1, while fragment design branding and the Cactus Jack logo feature on the right and left tongues, respectively.
Shifting your focus towards the back you'll find fragment's double lightning bolt logo and the Cactus Jack smiley as well. This all sits on top of a crisp white Nike Air midsole that's as comfortable as it gets. While they could've just left the outsole black and called it a day, they've actually painted it in a similar shade of white for a vintage vibe that we can definitely appreciate.
Expected to drop sometime this autumn, if the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High does manage to find its way to a public release then they're going to be insanely limited, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop! Let us know what you think of this three-way collaboration, and while you're here, you might as well take your best look yet at the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 "British Khaki"!
