Ensuring you look good and feel good, the new Parley x adidas Ultra Boost 20 “Legend Ink” uses specialist methods to transform ocean plastics into useable fabrics. As functional as ever and crafted to the same standard as all other adidas silhouettes, this pair is a sustainable alternative to other sneakers.
The upper on this pair is crafted from a Primeknit and neoprene fabric that’s ultra-flexible and designed to hug your foot in a glove-like fit. adidas’s signature three-stripe logo can be found on the side and a durable synthetic cage sits on the heel to keep your foot firmly in place. On the tongue, you’ll find and adidas logo sitting alongside the logo for Parley for the Oceans, to really drive this collab home.
The new Tailored Fibre Placement tech means the upper has been altered to deliver a fit that feels customised – providing a tighter fit where your foot requires more support and falling slightly looser elsewhere to enhance ventilation and breathability. Fitted with Boost cushioning that softens your landing and extends your stride, the textured rubber tread provides grip.
Due to release over at adidas on the 26th January, the Parley x adidas Ultra Boost 20 “Legend Ink” will set you back around £150 – but the price point is worth it if it means you’re helping save the world’s oceans, right?
An amazing move by the global sportswear giant, we recently wrote a piece discussing if adidas really is the most sustainable brand in the world.
