END. has been having a huge year when it comes to collaborations. Celebrating their 20th anniversary, the North-East based retailer has partnered with brands such as adidas, Salomon, Needles and now ASICS, in a year-long series of celebrations.
This latest sneaker release sees them take over the GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 and draw inspiration from humble origins to create something truly special.
Much like many of the collaborations we’ve seen as part of the END. 20 campaign, the inspiration for this release stems from the brand’s British heritage. Fitting in alongside the END. x adidas Harmony and the latest collection with CP Company, the END x. ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 “Milk” pays homage to the corner shop, reflecting on the importance of these stores in our daily lives.
Built on ASICS’ GEL-NIMBUS 10.1, a silhouette that's become a favourite in the retro runner revival, this release keeps things clean and classic. Off-white mesh uppers, synthetic suede overlays and that signature ASICS cage in layered hits of navy and pastel yellow. It’s retro running DNA, done the END. way, with storytelling stitched into every panel.
Co-branded hits on the tongue and milky insoles seal the deal, offering a subtle nod to the theme without going full novelty. It’s the kind of if-you-know-you-know detail that’ll turn heads without being too bold.
To mark the release, END. are transforming their Soho store into an immersive milk-bar concept, even serving their own bespoke milkshakes starting from Wednesday 30th July. Pairs are expected to hit shelves from August 1st in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Milan stores or you can enter via END. Launches from the 28th July.
