When we caught our first glimpse of the Yeezy Foam Runner "MX Cream Clay" back at the start of summer, we were honestly a little taken aback. As if someone bought a brand new pair of " Sand " and decided to stand on some dog poo, that was the image that came to mind when these first leaked. With that said, the legend that is Don C has now taken to Instagram to share a sneak peek of the colourway in question, and to be fair, they don't look half bad.
Seemingly inspired by cookies and cream, the "MX Cream Clay" is split into two halves. The top half of the Yeezy is dipped in an off-white scheme that's ready for summer, while the bottom half features an earthy brown palette that looks like it's prepared to get down and dirty this autumn. This is all painted above a one-piece foam construction that combines EVA foam and algae - the latter of which is extremely sustainable.
The rest of the Foam RNNR is done up with a slew of perforation with the ones at the heel possibly paying homage to the adidas Boost midsole found on the Yeezy Boost 700 . Rounding it all off is a wavy rubber outsole that offers durable traction with every step, finalising the design.
Set to drop on August 2nd, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop the adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR "MX Cream Clay"! Let us know what you think of this unique colourway, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "MX Rock" !
