Gucci x MLB Blur the Lines Between Luxury and Sporting Heritage With This Latest Collaboration

With rumours of a potential Jack Grealish x Gucci link-up in the works, it would seem the Italian fashion house is keen to extend its sporting gaze. Looking across the pond, Gucci x MLB have now released an official collaboration, with each piece bearing a distinctive mix of high fashion and sportswear cues.

Since all the way back in 2018, Gucci has flaunted the idea of collaborating with MLB when it launched its New York Yankees-inspired houndstooth coats and hats. Now almost four years later, Gucci x MLB have joined forces for a select capsule collection.

Included within this latest launch, we see a varsity hoodie, jacket and two baseball caps, with each bearing classic MLB logos and signatures. Seemingly leading the bunch, we see a grey varsity jacket, complete with contrasting red Los Angeles Angels embroidery. On the chest, we see the brand's "A" signature in large font, whilst the sleeve bears the name of the team.

For those looking to cop this upcoming Gucci x MLB, it will be available from Friday the 22nd of April at Gucci's online concept space. In other news, C.P. strengthens its range of technical garments with this latest selection.
