Gucci x The North Face: A Closer Look At The Upcoming Collection

One of the biggest announcements of 2020 was the Gucci x The North Face collab that was first teased back in September and since then we’ve been eagerly awaiting official images of the upcoming collection. This week the Gucci x The North Face collab was finally unveiled through a series of retro-style images showing off the ‘70s inspired collection that features both apparel and footwear. High-fashion meets practicality and functionality in this upcoming collab with everything from oversized down coats and backpacks to sleeping bags and logo printed tees.

Gucci and TNF have gone bold with many of the garments decorated in colourful patterns and of course featuring the instantly recognisable interlocking logo accompanied by TNF branding. A standout piece from the collection is the repeated logo print pattern puffer coat in the Italian Fashion Houses signature tan colourway. Sustainability is an important theme that runs throughout this collection, with recyclable fabrics used to create many of the items.
