Here's An Early Look at the sacai x Nike LDV Waffle Woven

Arguably one of the most successful sneaker partnerships over the past couple of years, Nike and sacai are joining forces for yet another collaborative sneaker. Though its early days, early images of the upcoming collaboration suggest that the duo is working on top of the Nike LDV Waffle, only this time the style has been reimagined with new woven uppers.

Bringing Chitose Abe’s high fashion touch to the Swoosh yet again, the new collab sees the style’s typical synthetic and mesh uppers get swapped out for a mixed material checkboard pattern, which is made from mesh and leather panels. Two colourways have been revealed so far: a toned down "White" pair that takes on tonal shades of white and grey, and a "Multi" colourway, which sees greens, blues, reds and yellows dress the uppers.

Staying true to previous joint ventures, the sacai x Nike LDV Waffle Woven features doubled-up detailing, including layered tongues, eyestays and additional laces. To finish, the style comes with a stacked sole unit, and gum (on the White) or black (Multi) rubber outsoles finish the pair perfectly.
