Amid the coronavirus pandemic that is currently sweeping the globe, not only are brick-and-mortar stores beginning to close, a few hotly anticipated sneaker releases are also being postponed as well. March was set to be one of the biggest months for Jordan Brand, but due to the unforeseen circumstances, Nike have had to put the brakes on a selection of high heat releases.
Encompassing a wide range of silhouettes, here's every single Jumpman drop that has been delayed so far. Please not that this list will most likely increase as time goes on, so be sure to keep it locked. Part of 2006's "Defining Moments" Pack, the Air Jordan 6 "DMP" was meant to re-release this month but has been pushed back until April 11th. Decked out in buttery smooth black suede, it celebrates Michael Jordan's first NBA championship and is decked out with metallic gold accents for a luxurious look and feel.
Afterwards on April 25th, we'll see the launch of the coveted Air Jordan 5 "Fire Red" which pays homage to 1985's Air Jordan 1 of the same name. Celebrating the legendary silhouette's massive 30th anniversary, this clean pair is decked out in pristine white leather and finished off with the iconic P-51 Mustang-inspired midsole.
Originally launched back in the late '90s, the Air Jordan 13 "Flint" made a comeback in 2005 and 2010, and was meant to make its legendary return this month as well. With that said, its release has been postponed until May 2nd. An underrated shoe, it definitely deserves a bit more love from the sneakerhead community.
A shoe that only leaked yesterday, it looks like the Air Jordan 4 "Court Purple" hasn't escaped the pandemic as it has been postponed until May 14th. This isn't too bad considering the shoe hasn't really been officially announced, but we're still bummed out as we want these in our spring rotations ASAP!
A low top version of what is probably one of the most iconic AJ11 colourways of all time, the Air Jordan 11 Low "Concord Bred" has been pushed back until May 23rd - which almost a month away from its original drop date. Famous for its patent leather mudguards and "Fire Red" outsole, these will definitely be missed.
When it comes to hyped Jordan Brand releases, the Air Jordan 5 "Top 3" is definitely up there. Celebrating the model's 30th birthday, it combines three of the silhouette's most iconic colourways into one, resulting in a high heat hybrid that had everyone talking. If you want a pair then you're going to have to wait until at least May 30th to cop.
