With its release just around the corner, official images of the upcoming Union LA x Bephie’s Beauty Supply x Air Jordan 1 collab have finally been revealed. Set to drop in the coming weeks, fans are being treated to not one, but two models: the woven Air Jordan 1 High, which was doing the rounds earlier this year, as well as a women’s-exclusive LV8D version, as well as an accompanying clothing capsule.
Celebrating the union (get it?) between the store’s founders, the collection will launch on the 24th of August. If these pairs are on your must-cop list, then be sure to hit the release reminder links, and check out the original article below.
Rumours of a new UNION x Air Jordan 1 release had been doing the rounds for a couple of months now, but images of the pair are finally starting to come to light. Tipped to release towards the end of the year by leaker and Jordan historian MrUnloved1s, here's everything we know so far about the upcoming UNION x Air Jordan 1 Woven.
While the duo dropped a collaborative AJ1 Low at the start of 2023, the collab didn’t quite live up to the dizzying heights of the previous project. However, as expected, as soon as the rumour regarding the high-top release surfaced, it gave way to countless mock-ups, as fans began to speculate what the upcoming sneaker could look like. MrUnloved1 confirmed that the mock-ups were "not even close" to the final result, which was finally revealed to have a woven upper, similar to that seen on Nike's Footscape.
Seen here in early on-foot imagery, the pair arrives in a muted cream colourway, with hints of grey and orange adding pops of colour. Peeking closely at the shoe, you may notice the 'BBS' embroidery at the heel, which hints towards the pair being a three-way collaboration - bringing Beth Birkett's Bephie's Beauty Supply into the fold.
The 2023 UNION x Air Jordan 1 Woven has been tipped for an August release, so hopefully more info and imagery will surface very soon. In the meantime, be sure to stay locked to The Sole Supplier for all the latest news as it comes in, and why not check out Jordan's SS23 Retro line-up.
