Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Converse sneakers are regarded by many as the best of “THE TEN“. Released in two distinct variations, both colourways have quickly become holy grails for many sneakerheads. Now, recent leaks are suggesting that Virgil also had a low top Converse in mind, and this is what it was going to look like!
Images courtesy of sneaker insider @onusinfo, this sneaker looks like an amalgamation of the two Off-White x Converse high tops that released in 2018. The upper looks like it’s made from a white and black canvas that has been intricately weaved for a look that’s made to turn heads. This structure extends throughout the shoe, while the tongue is left blank for a textural contrast.
Down below, an icy blue midsole is present, taken straight from the Off-White x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star of May 2018. To round it all off, clean white laces with “SHOELACES” text completes the design.
With the Off-White x Nike “THE TEN” collection finally at an end, these Off-White x Converse low tops probably won’t ever see the light of day, but it’s still interesting to see what could’ve been. Would you have copped these? Let us know what you think, and be sure to take a look at the full Converse sneaker range!
