Regarded by many as the hottest sneaker collaboration ever made, we wouldn't be exaggerating when we say that the Off-White x Nike collection changed the game for good. Renowned for its avant-garde design and deconstructed aesthetic, each shoe was more hyped than the next. The range was also famous for coming with a ton of accessories, including extra laces and zip-ties, and now, two years after its initial debut, Virgil Abloh has explained why.
❤️❤️❤️✨® the ultimate idea was that all those extra laces and the zip-ties go to use with all your other pairs of shoes to DIY make your own versions of Off-White™ sneakers. https://t.co/9nJQn29czy

Taking to his personal Twitter account, the Louis Vuitton Artistic Director said that the "ultimate idea"; behind it all was so sneakerheads could create their own Off-White sneakers using the extra laces and zip-ties. This emphasises the DIY aspect of the coveted collaboration, and it essentially means that if you took an L on any of the OW x Swoosh sneakers, you can pretty much make your own!
What do you think of this? Does it make sense to you? Make sure you show us your own DIY Off-White x Nike sneakers, and for everything Off-White related and more, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier!
