The Dunk Low Disrupt first emerged late 2020 as a women's-exclusive release and has since taken the world of Nike Dunks by storm. Releasing in a number of colourways, with the most popular arguably being the "White/Black", "Sail" and "Dark Green" iterations, the Swoosh Brand have re-imagined the Dunk silhouette once again. Here, we can take a look at the second-edition Dunk Disrupt, which takes on a more 'DIY', deconstructed style than its chunkier counterpart.

Coming primarily in two colourways, the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 "Malachite" was the first iteration to be revealed. With the silhouette being constructed from recycled materials as part of Nike's Move to Zero initiative, we see the pinwheel design take over the insoles of the sneaker. As well as this, for the first time ever these Dunks are coming with 'Nike Dunk' embroidered into the top of the tongue in "University Blue", matching to the embroidered mini-Swoosh on the lateral sidewall and outline of a larger Swoosh underneath.
The upper on this first colourway matches that of the speckled midsole, coming in an "Sail" colouring, whilst the suede overlays appear in the titular "Malachite", corresponding to the dashing rubber outsole below. Additional panelling covers the heel, and the laces extend further down the toe box compared to the traditional Dunk Low. The eyelet panelling adds to the reconstructed design, and it's hinted that this bright-green Dunk Disrupt 2 will be coming with off-white, baby pink and neon laces.
Secondary to the "Malachite" edition, we were also treated to a first look at the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 "Pale Ivory". A much more muted colour scheme compared to the previous design, this Disrupt 2 combines the title colour with "Light Madder Root", "Sail" and "Venice" to create a pretty Dunk that we know is going to fly off the shelves.
Pink takes over the stitched Nike Swoosh, and perfectly corresponds to the "Sail" suede overlays that take over the upper. The larger Swoosh outline comes in an aqua hue, whilst additional embroidered detailing feature in orange. The branding at the top of the tongue comes in a shimmery, metallic colour, adding a hint of luxe to the new silhouette.
There's no further news on any other Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 colourways, or when these will release, but keep it locked to The Sole Supplier to find out more information as and when we know it.
