Here's Your First Look at Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga

Happy 22/2/22 - or as we’re calling it in the office – DONDA 2 Day! That’s right, Ye is scheduled to drop the much-anticipated DONDA 2 album later on today, although it’s releasing via his Stem Player only. That doesn’t mean that you’ll have to forego joining in with any of the celebrations though. Not only is Ye live streaming the initial album performance from Miami over on Twitch, but he’s also dropping the eagerly awaiting Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collaboration at 2pm today, too.

Ye took to social media to announce the three-way collaboration back in January, just a little after he made the Round Jacket available for global pre-order. Whilst news of Balenciaga joining Ye and Gap came as a surprise, Ye has been working closely with creative director Demna for quite some time now. The Georgian designer creative directed the DONDA listening parties, coordinated much of Kanye’s recent wardrobe, and also worked on merch for Ye’s “Free Larry Hoover” concert.

Rather unsurprisingly, the capsule consists of a number of oversized, earth-toned, tees and hoodies, adorned with tonal GAP logos and a flying dove back print. The capsule is rumoured to be dropping at Farfetch later today, so keep it locked for more info as it comes in!
