How To Cop The Air Max 95 “Pink Foam”

Nike is going all out for the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95. We’ve already seen the OG “Neon” colourway drop and these are set to be followed up by the Corteiz Honey Black 95s as well as the fan-favourite “Mandarins” set to drop in Summer. However, it’s the Air Max 95 “Pink Foams” that have caught our eyes and been causing a stir in The Sole Supplier office.

First released in 2020, this Kim K classic colourway is returning with a twist, set to feature the iconic “Big Bubble” Air Max unit which pays homage to the OG 1995 design. When images were first revealed of this sneaker by Size? earlier in the year, we knew it was going to be a drop that we couldn’t miss. When the original 2020 colourway, the Air Max 95 “Gunsmoke Pink”, first dropped it was not an instant sell out. It was popular with collectors but hadn’t quite amassed the cult following it has now. However, it quickly rose to cult status, becoming one of the most coveted sneakers in recent years. Even Kim Kardashian, once loyal to adidas, was seen rocking a pair; and as soon as she was, resale prices skyrocketed. The day she posted her IG post we noticed searches for “Pink Air Max 95” shoot up 2,400%!

This new iteration of the Pink Foams stays true to the original aesthetic with a black mesh base, overlaid by suede panels on the lateral and medial sides. These overlays fade from light grey to dark Gunsmoke, creating a gradient effect. The signature Swoosh is embroidered near the heel in Pink Foam, with matching pastel accents running down the eyelets of the lacing system.

The release date for these Pink Air Max 95s is set for next week and will drop on Friday, May 2nd. The release times vary depending on which retailer you’re trying to cop from but most will have raffles which will close a little earlier, so make sure you don’t waste time in entering!

With this being a highly anticipated drop, the AM95 “Pink Foams” will be dropping via raffle at the majority of retailers. Your best chance to cop will be on the Nike SNKRS app which operates a Limited Entry Opportunity (LEO) drop method. At 8am on the day of release you’ll have a small window to enter the draw and then may be randomly selected for a chance to buy the pair.
