This weekend, adidas will be dropping what is arguably their most ambitious Yeezy Boost 350 V2 to date over at adidas UK and Foot Locker UK (7am GMT). Launching as part of the regionally exclusive ‘Special Release‘ collection, the ‘True Form‘ will be exclusive to Europe, Russia, and Ukraine.
While Yeezys definitely aren’t as limited as they used to be, the ‘True Form’ is expected to sell out within seconds. With that said, we’ve compiled a list of a few tips and tricks that can help you maximise your chances of getting a W on Saturday morning. Whether you’ve copped all fifteen Yeezy Boost 350 V2s or trying for your first one, the ‘True Form’ is a must cop for any sneaker rotation! Good luck!
If you haven’t already, make sure to follow us over on Twitter, both on our main @thesolesupplier account and our @thesolerestocks account. Our main account will keep you in the loop with the latest release info and relevant news, while our restocks account will give you direct links to adidas UK and Foot Locker UK when they launch at 7am, as well as other stockists. Don’t forget to turn on notifications too so you don’t miss out on anything!
To maximise your chances of getting a W, be sure to take a look at our nifty raffle guide and enter as many as possible on the run up to launch! From UK retailers to EU stockists, each entry is categorised as “Collection” or “Delivery”, with closing dates listed just below it. As a pre-warning, some of these will take money out of your account first for a smoother transaction, so make sure you read the terms and conditions!
This point is essential for you to get a W. Make sure you have an account with every retailer that’s selling the ‘True Form’. Be it adidas UK or Foot Locker UK, ensure that you have your name, address, and payment details saved and ready to go. If you want to go one step further, let your bank know that it’s actually you who’s making the transaction just so they don’t put it on hold and potentially cancel it.
The ‘True Form’ is set to launch at adidas UK and Foot Locker UK at 7am. It’s vital that you get queuing at least half an hour before release. While you might be waiting around for thirty minutes doing nothing, it’ll give you time to make any final preparations beforehand, such as making sure you have your card details ready. To add to this, Foot Locker UK are known to drop high heat releases sooner than expected, so if you want that W, you need to get in line early!
Less is more
What ever device you plan to use to cop, make sure nothing is running in the background. No tabs to YouTube videos or Facebook Messenger or anything else – you NEED to focus on getting that W! Better yet, if you have a few devices, make sure to use them all! That said, you should ensure they’re not all on the same Wi-Fi network as this may affect your internet speeds.
If you missed out on your chance to get a W, don’t worry, as we’ve got you covered. As mentioned before, follow our @thesolerestocks account for any potential restocks that may pop up. This happens very often with unclaimed pairs or cancelled transactions, so if you’re desperate for a win, keep it locked on your phone for any notifications!
