The colour burgundy is more popular than ever. This rich autumnal hue has been of high demand with Google searches for “burgundy trainers” almost tripling in the past two years, and increasing 26% since last year. What can we say? The people are asking for it.
Burgundy is a colour that elevates an outfit without trying too hard, it’s bold enough to make a statement, but subtle enough to go with pretty much everything in your wardrobe.
We picked out three Nike sneaker silhouettes in lush burgundy colourways and styled them out to bring that autumnal vibe to your outfits this season.
Burgundy Nike Air-Rifts

Nike Air Rifts were the it-shoe of summer 2026, but that doesn’t mean that what happens in summer stays in summer. The split-toe open shoe can definitely transition into the autumn and winter months: get yourself a burgundy colourway and a more cosy texture such as pony-hair and you’re good. Style your Air Rifts with an oversized pant shape to juxtapose the low-profile silhouette, a snug hoodie, and an oversized plaid jacket which reflects the rich tones of the shoe.

White and burgundy Nike P-6000s

These Nike dark red track pants with the plaid detailing work well with their matching plaid fleece jacket for that cosy autumnal vibe, but because we’ve gone for a full-burgundy base we want a clashing colour for the shoes. We’ve picked out a Nike P-6000 in a white and silver upper with just a touch of dark wine details on the Swoosh and the sole, and you can’t go wrong with a black puffer for a layer.

Burgundy Nike Air Force 1 ’07s

And sometimes going for that full monochrome look is a vibe. Suede and an all-burgundy colourway makes for the ultimate autumn shoe, this Air Force 1 is truly ideal for this season. We’ve styled it with this pink/dark red checked mesh top by Nike, which is equally perfect for a rave as it is for a chill day out and opted for an oversized pleated pant to elevate the outfit a little bit without compromising our comfort. And the fact that it’s lined with fleece is a huge plus for the upcoming freezing weather.
