We’ve paired the two shoes with this ecru trouser by Universal Works and layered this short-sleeved poplin striped shirt also by Universal Works (we love the quarter-zip detail) over this Uniqlo tank top. Throw on this Barbour hat and some jewellery and you’re good to go. 

We’ve taken the Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Distract, and this time round we’ve styled it with a more utilitarian flare. A trucker denim jacket is a must-have wardrobe staple, this one is by about:blank (try Googling it), and we’ve styled it with this pair of hardworking military-inspired pants by South Korean label FrizmWorks. A blank white tee always wins the best under-layer award, this one’s from Uniqlo, and we’ve topped the fit off with a black cap. 

Shorts and long sleeves is an elite combo, especially for UK summers (the unpredictable weather requires breezy layers). This Gander waffle long-sleeve tee is a perfect match to the cream palette of the ProGrid Omni 9, we’ve paired it with these Garms Affiliated camo long shorts, white socks and an about:blank cap. 

We can confidently say that jorts and a white T-shirt is the ultimate summer uniform, regardless of where you’re based. We’ve opted for this Gander T-shirt, which is reversible (basically two tees in one), and styled it with this pair of long cotton shorts, also by Gander. Pair with a hat for sun protection and throw on a sweater over your shoulders just in case it gets chilly later on – that’s an easy way to add a pop of colour to the fit, too.
